My crush is not from a movie, television show, or book. He's a man of action and a man of humor. He can be riotously flip or deadly serious, but always appropriate to the circumstances. His devotion to his lady is expressed with humor, but it is whole-hearted. He says the most outrageous things with his tongue firmly in cheek, laughing at himself as much as the world. He can be tough and rough or heartbreakingly gentle and sympathetic, and he knows exactly when to be either. And he has a lovely singing voice.

He is private investigator Richard Diamond. His only incarnation is in the old time radio show of the same name.

And if he showed up on my doorstep, I'd marry him in a heartbeat.
