I find myself becoming obsessed with things that put me in a wistful, dreamy mood, whether they are aesthetic or cerebral. I usually develop strong interests in music, where I will listen to one form of music or the artist for a time. I also collect books on various subjects that I take those strong interests in, such as dance, Golden Era, art, etc. What's interesting to me is how those obsessions can go away, or ebb, and then return months or years later.
