Disney 40

A lady from our home office in Greenville, SC knew that I enjoy collecting and wearing fedoras.......she was telling me about one she had picked up at a "second-hand" store for a few bucks. I started asking her about it, come to find out it was a Disney......a 7 1/4! I had previously sent her some goodies from last year's Mardi Gras celebration, so she started making noises about sending it to me. Of course I protested (not tooooo strongly), and suggested that she could probably make a nice little profit by placing it up for auction online........or I'd be happy to purchase it from her if she really didn't want it. A few weeks went by and I thought the subject was forgotten......when out of the blue a box arrives at my office.....the Disney hat!!

So whaddya think? It so happens I did not have a lid this particular color.....it's very soft and pliable. It has a few moth divots, and could use a little cleaning, but otherwise I'm tickled pink! Anyone have any idea as to it's vintage?

Outstanding hat, that is the kind of hat most of us are in search for, not to mention getting it as a gift. You truely were blessed with that one.

That is really nice. The bow looks interesting- have a pic of that?
If the moth divots are small, a bit of 600+ sandpaper should do the trick.
One of my favorite hat color combos, BTW.

Congrats.

Very nice bow. Thanks for showing it.
I bet you can sand those divots awaywith a
little careful dabbing. . .

Again, congratulations. A rare and fine hat.
