Disappeared thread: Nice Adam fedora

A few days ago, I started a thread on an Adam fedora I won on eBay. For some reason, the entire thread has disappeared without any explanation. An accident, presumably. I can't imagine that the thread offended anyone.

Since I've been away and didn't have a chance to see what folks wrote in response to the thread, I'm starting it anew.

Just wondering ... what do you think of this hat (see link below)? Is it a good one? How about "Adam", the maker? Thank you very much for your opinions and advice; they are much appreciated!

Marc, I wondered what happened to your thread. I wrote that I almost bought that hat when it first became available but with my index finger poised, ready to strike, I realized that I really didn't need another dressy fedora. I already have a similar Stetson Whippet. Be that as it may, I think this is a beautiful hat and I'm so glad a Lounge member snagged it. I particularly love the ribbon. It's becoming so difficult to find the right hat at the right price on ebay these days as we're finding out. Let's see some photos when you get it. Great purchase. Enjoy!

What a coincidence. Just this morning I saw an Adam fedora for sale in a local Antique/junk shop for $10. It was a little dingy and dusty looking, but I think it was alright. 7 1/8 though. Didn't fit so I left it.
