I have 2 of Daves "Bucco J100" jackets.
The first I purchased used, Horween "Vermont Expresso" HH.
I liked it so much I asked Dave to make me another in black steerhide, just received that one a couple of weeks ago.
Beautifully made jackets, great materials.
Dave was a pleasure to work with.
Another jacket / maker I can't say enough good things about.
Too late now for photos. I'll get some up tomorrow.

I really need to get Dave to make me a jacket or six. I'm in Tulsa frequently and could probably get fitted.

^^ send DD an email or pm. Unfortunately, i dont have any pics at my fingertips... He definitely has a spot on pattern and can make it in a nice veg tanned Horween HH with NOS talon zippers and period correct wool lining. I wish I owned one but he is absolutely legit.

I'd love one. Sadly I'm trying to get the cash built back up after my daughters wedding and current home repairs. I've been close and then something comes up and poof. I need a second job I guess. :(

That is gorgeous!
Pardon my ignorance but who is Diamond Dave and what store is his? Does he have a website?

I have always loved this pattern. One of the first cafe racers and DD does a lovely version. I'd get one but I have around 12 leather jackets already. I don't generally buy multiples of things.

Nice plain simple without all the fussy bits, just right for wearing on an old style race bike.
But I have never worn an unlined bike jacket, what would it be like movement wise as in riding in a T shirt? I have worn a raw leather welding jacket but that tended to stick to the body once I got a bit 'sweaty'(wearing just a T).
