Those are my favorite jeans, but now Momotaro jeans are getting way too expensive and I'm not ready to buy them at this price.

Ironically in France Mach Go Go Go aka Speed racer wasn't that popular not like Grendizer.

In light of recent discussion, I'll be honest with you here - it's a really, really beautiful jacket & one that certainly fits you but I... don't think it's flattering you, Speed. I have this idea of how women's jackets should fit and this isn't it. It's an entirely subjective view, but I think it's too roomy around the waist and that the sleeves should've definitely been slimmed down. These jackets are very form fitting, perhaps more so than any other style, and it's how most of the guys wear 'em, so I believe this should've been especially true for you. Again, it fits you but it kind of looks like you're wearing men's jacket in your size. Not a bad thing, not saying that it doesn't look good on you but I think you deserve better. Again, just my opinion and I hope no offense will be taken. :)

I'm a little late to the party with this one, must be the Uni assignments I've been punching through all weekend....
Speedy, this is one stellar jacket. I'm sure you are well pleased.
The manufacturing of this, in the close up images, appears to be as good as anything else I've seen out there.
The hide is amazing (I've also handled it) & have to agree that it is unique in a very lovely way.

Brilliant images too, you must have a nice DSLR set up I am assuming?

You would be surprise on how fitting the jacket is in 3D.

I'm not a thin woman and my body shape is quite even all around.

Usually I don't buy "women jacket" because it won't fit me. If I try it on one the chest area will fit but not the waist and vice versa. It always looks awkward on me and I gave up on this kind of jacket.

Look at my Sheene thread it will be the same phenomenon.

Thanks, it's taken with a Sony A77 and a 50mm 1/4f

I think it rocks Speedy. A bit of wear and it will be even better. I've always wanted one, but I doubt it would suit my build....I dig it. I think it fits you well.

I sincerely hope you haven't taken my comment as a negative criticism for this certainly wasn't how I intended it to be, nor did I want to give you an impression that I think you should be wearing your jackets super tight, girly or anything like that. If my post did come across as such, I apologize. I was just sharing my opinion.
To clarify things, I do believe that the jacket fits you perfectly - just that I also believe it could've been done a bit better. Your Sheene is exactly the jacket I've had in mind when I commented (instantly went back to take another look at it), as I believe Aero did a better job & made you a wonderful jacket that works so very well for you, while this one is a bit baggier and not as flattering. I guess you could say the Sheene spoiled me. :)

The fit is different and the fact that the J-100 is longer change things, interestingly I have more room with the Sheene than the J-100

We will see how the fit change while the leather break in.

I'll post photos in a few months to see the change.

I guess it's two different jackets.

Also in Dave defense it's his first time adapting his pattern to a woman body shape. Aero have a pattern technician specializing in women plus they have work with mockup jackets (more easily done since we're both in EU, no customs duties)

I thought I'd try a comparative analysis of the Aero Sheene and the DD J-100. First of all, the OP had the benefit of a final "fit" jacket from Aero which in and of itself is IMO also a keeper:
IMG_6235.JPG

Below are pics of the Sheene on the left and J-100 on the right:
1.jpg 2.jpg
3.jpg 4.jpg
5.jpg 6.jpg

To me the most obvious difference is the longer body length of the DD J-100. I think the Sheene is black Vicenza HH whereas the J-100 is Shinki HH. Correct? If so, I would be interested in the OP's comparative analysis of the weight, feel and drape of the two jackets since pictures are only two dimensional.
