Derbysio?

Hello all.

My name is Glenn...40 years old from Belgium and with a great interest for hats at the moment.
Anyway, i just won my first hat on ebay (see picture).
Inside you will find Derbysio made in Belgium (written in English) according the dealer.
Now i have a few questions.
What kind of hat,or model is this one?
Does Derbysio exists,because i don't find any info on te internet?
Like you see, i'm a newby and every info is highly welcome.
Here is one picture for the moment (i'll make more when the hat is arrived).

I don't have any experience with European hats, nor have I heard of a Derbysio. But I would reccomend putting pictures up on the lounge, especially ones of the inside liner of the hat as soon as it arrives. It would aid those who would be able to identify your new acquisition. All that aside, congrats on your new lid, it looks very nice.

Its a size 57 and a bit too small for me.
Derbysio made in Belgium, but for me a unknown maker.

Your hat looks like a good quality "1960's", maybe late 50's. The type of hat is basically a "fedora", and it is blocked with a "center dent" type of style.

From your photos, it looks as if you have a very nice, clean vintage hat.

I think you're right about the 'problem', because i'm chasing after a Dobbs at the moment and with some luck it's going to be a real steal!

The only manufacturer that I know of in Belgium was Vimenet. They are long gone ,but made a very nice hat. I've never seen one but I have a few displays from the company.
