Not sure I'd wear this TBH.

White denim: to defeat (oneself) by seeking to do or gain too much.
J-Lo is about the only person on earth who could pull that off. Entirely against the brands ethos. Not sure why they’d bother with that nonsense.

You should see ooe yofukuten's railroad jacket. White denim looking great

how does supposed a blue collared work clothes come in white:D....
even for city dwellers it would be soiled fast in a bad way, brown stained collar, yellowing armpit and stuff, basically you do the opposite of your other denim jacket to keep it in control probably hot washing with clorox weekly. :D

but on the other hand it open possibility to dye it in whatever color you desire. camel, olive, tan, dark brown, country flag, racing stripes:)

I don't think engineers shoveling cole on a train a century ago would have worn this jacket, I'll give you that. But I think I could perfectly wear such a jacket here in the city, without soiling it. I've got these white Japanese selvedge denim jeans which I wear without getting them dirty. But then again, I'm not shoveling cole, I'm in IT :)

I agree and for me it wouldn’t take long either. First time I sat down to eat with this jacket on I’m sure I would spill something on it. Be it pesto, hot sauce, or salsa, you can I always tell what I had for dinner!

I really have no clue where are they going with this. Did people even used to wear that sort of denim back in the 50's? I mean, that's the look IH is going for, why suddenly come out with this?

I guess it's not like the worst thing ever but what others say, imagine not ever washing that kind of stuff. It'd look ridiculous. Faded, slightly dirty denim is cool but anything white just looks stained and filthy. What Nave says, yellow armpits, greasy stains on the front, and that's without even mentioning pocket edges and the ass on the jeans... Ugh.

Check out the IH crew all geared up in this white denim. Not posting this to make fun of course, the combo actually looks nice all new and could be good for a fancy evening or something like that, dunno, but man...

If it was 100% linen, though, and not as white, I'd be all over it for sure though.

If I'd go white, I would either wear a white jacket or white pants. Certainly not both.

I you look around (IG etc) you’ll see that white denim is all the rage this year. They are just jumping on the bandwagon of this fashion trend... nothing more nothing less.

I’d personally stay away from the white tux.

Seriously? That's one trend I haven't noticed. Haven't even seen any white denim in shopping malls so far.

Just go on the clutch cafe page on IG and have a look at the last two posts. That’s the first thing that came up as I opened Instagram.

I think it started out with white vintage Levi’s 501. My theory is that they are the last easily available vintage 501 as white is the least desirable colour. Nobody wanted them but a couple of “influencer” started to wear them and then boom, white denim everywhere.

Strikes me that it could also be just a seasonal style of offering- here in New Orleans I know white linen is a summer thing, and generally white or cream suits are a summer thing throughout the southern United States (probably elsewhere but not familiar)

It’s like being John Goodman from Oh Brother Where Art Thou but for denim heads

Yep, you're right. Just checked Clutch and some other heritage IG, definitely a thing. Well, I'll remain one of those people who doesn't want it. It looks ridiculous even on the Clutch dude speaking in the second post. It looks bad, forced and bad.

I don't see how it could catch on, at least in the long run. White cotton can get irreparably dirty. You can at least always wash linen...

it's time for people in medical world to sneak up denim in their workplace :D, boiled washed everyday of course.
I have 1 white pants but it is not pure white, it is more off white and with heathered brown specks all over it, still I get paranoid when I wear them since I'm somewhat clumsy, tend to accidentally spill, smear, or drop something on myself. one time caterpillar landed on my thigh when I sit on my bike under a tree, I brushed it off with the side of my hand, but instead of dropping off, it burst splattered allover my pants and hand, stuff like that.
