They understand their market well. same strategy is used in any niche market hobby things, tease the release months before, then release at very limited number that unless you preorder or act very quickly it would be sold out everywhere or with heavy markup by scalpers, let it be boardgame, action figure, jeans, or jackets:)

Boyo,
I was unsure about whether to go 3XL or 4XL but I decided the triple looked big enough for me. Out of curiosity what size do you normally wear in Aero, Vanson, or any of the other usual makers?

El,
I’m usually a 48 in Aero jackets.. ideally a 21” shoulder and 26 P2P.
Im hoping the blanket lining and quilted sleeves eat up some of the longish measurements in body and sleeve length.. that 30” measurement is definitely a concern..

Boyo,
I thought I remembered that you were a size or two bigger than me and I’m glad to hear that I was right.
I am with you regarding sleeve and body length, and I almost did not complete my order for that reason. At the end of the day though I knew that I had to have Iron Heart’s take on the Storm Rider. This is one of my favorite jackets of all time and I know that when IH does something they do it right. Here’s hoping that all four of us are happy with the way they fit!

That's a thing, that interests me:

In Germany, the international M-size is usually still shoulder width 45cm/17,7".

And in the rest of the world? Tell me! :)

I was debating between M and S, partially because of the length plus only love those jackets super fitted, but figured I'd definitely get more wear out of M.

I'm really happy to hear so many of us here got one!

they don't make them in my size but this is pretty nice...

20 oz denim and shearling..

I have a few of their shirts before they changed their sizing. Super annoying, they don't fit me either. XL shirts with 45.5 in chest.

As for jean jackets, I have a Ciano Farmer chore coat and a Bravestar Double Black - Blacked Out - lined Johnny Cash on order.

CF makes a ton of cool designs but you will have to wait awhile.

I predict the following order of reception for the IH storm Rider. @Boyo first East coast, myself 2nd Midwest, @El Marro Marro 3rd West coast and @Monitor 4th b/c I believe they use DHL in Europe which is somehow slower than shipping UPS overseas. Let’s race and see if I’m right.

You are probably right, but one thing I love about IH is that everything I’ve ordered from them arrives freakishly fast considering that is coming from London. By comparison I have a small light fixture that I ordered which shipped on Friday from Southern California that is projected to arrive at my home in Northern California by the end of next week...

2-3 days from the U.K. from IH ain’t half bad! Aero is the same. But with IH it’s free, which is super nice!

I am thinking of buying a Denim Jacket - Elephant 7: El Diablo (20 oz) or a Denim Jacket - Left Hand Twill - Midnight Edition (13,7 oz) from Naked & Famous Denim. Does someone have experience with this brand? I found a shop 10 minutes walk from my house who holds the entire Naked & Famous Denim collection. There is also a Chore Coat - Nep Stretch Twill - Charcoal. The devil is tempting me.

Me getting the jacket last is absolutely how it's going to be which is funny because I'm the closest to IH. But yeah, it usually takes 7 to 10 days for anything from the UK to reach me. Y'all be getting fades by the time my Storm Rider arrives.

So I just got my shipping notice from IH and UPS. The jacket should be arriving Wednesday afternoon.
