I have an RMC Deerskin Down Puffer Jacket and it's incredible. I hope to wear it for a long time.
For this style though, I actually would prefer to have it look new, always. It's my personal preference to avoid patina on this puffer style jacket.
On high contact areas, it's starting to show some grey. I'm wondering what products I can use to restore the color and protect it going forwards. A lot of the information I've read is more for horsehide or traditional leather jackets but I think this jacket maybe wouldn't get the standard treatment? My feeling is that the dye is not very colorfast at all.
I've been more diligent about not wearing it if there's any chance of rain now.
