1936 Stout Scarab.
Designed by William Bushnell Stout and manufactured by Stout Engineering Laboratories/Stout Motor Car Company, it is believed only nine units were produced, and with each vehicle being hand-built no two were exactly alike. At a cost of $5,000 (a little over $89,000 today) the vehicle never officially went into production, but it is considered by some to be the world's first minivan.
