I know my dad has been very quiet here for the last couple of years , and some of you have been asking after him, which i know he appreciates. He hasn't been twiddling his thumbs however , he's been busy putting paper to pen.

He's asked me to pass this on .......

I hear on the grapevine that a lot of members have be asking after me, Rumour of my poor health have been greatly exaggerated but I grew up in Caithness so I’m well used to dealing with adversities.

I’ve shrugged off the cancer meanwhile I’ve spent the last couple of years writing a novel set between 1947 and 1968 taking in a mixture of fact and fiction some of which is not that far off my own pre Aero days in London during the early 1960s

The book, “The Cast Iron Certainty” has now been published and is available from both Aero and/or Amazon, (Overseas buyers would find buying through their local Amazon much cheaper as regards postage.)

Aero are running a competition on Instagram offering a free signed and dedicated copy for the first person who can correctly ID the inspiration my artist used two main characters pictured on the cover.

Excellent! Really pleased to hear Ken's in better health - and excited to see this come out. I interviewed Ken for The Chap (Ken was a real sport and did it by email as the week we'd planned to put it together I lost my voice which made a telephone interview impossible) a few years ago, and he's a natural story teller.

Looks like Humphrey Bogart. Not sure the woman, there were so many beautiful classic era Hollywood stars. Maybe Audrey Hepburn? Shirley McClain?

Very nice to hear this positive update on Ken, as well as the book he has written. Such a great thing to do! I will be looking to obtain a copy of this soon. Also nice choice of Automobile on the cover of the book. As it turns out - my pending birth caused my Mom and Dad to sell their Jaguar Mark II sedan - I was the second child, so a more practical car was purchased before I was born. But they loved their Jag (when it worked correctly) :)
