Yes, indeed -- how could I forget Ms. Hunt? She's still going quite strong.

Also missing from the list (among many others, I trust) is noir standout Audrey Totter, who is 91 years old.

It's good to know that so many film stars from the Golden Age are still among us. Thanks for that list skyvue! :)

But i tell you, the day Mickey Rooney goes to a better place, for me personally , that will be the disappearance of Old Hollywood for ever, a most definitely and total end of an era.

Sonny Burgess - The Arkansas Wild Man, perhaps the last of the original Sun Rockabilly Cats. "Red Headed Woman.....'bout the meanest thing I know..."
Jon Faddis and James Moody, who played with Dizzy Gillespie. I saw them both at the Blue Note this year, still tearing the universe another black hole.
Sonny Rollins.

Jennifer Jones was a beauty and her sensitive film performances will always be there for us to enjoy.

My favorite Jennifer Jones film has to be, "Duel In The Sun".

I was introduced to the work of Miss Jones via my mother, who was a big fan of her film, Love Is A Many Splendored Thing. The theme song was a huge hit for the group The Four Aces, who's lead singer Al Alberts recently died (Nov 27).
For the record, Andy Williams is crooning the song in this video clip.
