I just realized something in that cartoon, has any one here ever slept in a moldy sleeping bag! I have been riding since the 60s, and had the same down sleeping bag, stolen out of a Huey survival kit for 30 of those years. I finally had to give it up, because most of the feathers had flown the coop! Then again, with out a great paying job, who can afford even a 1200 Sportster at over $10,000 these days! Of course the new ones wont magically turn into two stroke dirt bikes like Parks 69 XLH! :)

Actor Powers Boooth passed away on Sunday at 68.
Boothe was one of the best Philip Marlowes, in the HBO (?) series in the '80s. Of course I know about his playing Jim Jones, though I've never seen it; and I hear he was a villain in Deadwood, which I've also never watched. He always delivered, it seems to me, in whatever he was cast in.

I've always admired Booth's work. I loved him recently as the titular head of Hydra on "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD". Man could he play a villain... straight enough to make your skin crawl because he had the gravitas to convey menace with just his presence. He will be missed.

I agree, as a matter of fact, I am watching "Trouble is My Business " on DVD with Blithe now.

FWIW I think his roles in Deadwood and Tombstone were among his best.

I've played with musicians who played with Greg Allman in later years (Dan Toler to be exact). Man the guy had demons BUT he was a great musician and he lasted longer than many thought he would. While I enjoyed the Allman Brothers Band I didn't love the genre they spawned, I find Southern Rock tough to take in long doses except for early Z.Z. Top who I consider arguably the best of the breed.
