Lost an old friend and neighbor. She's been our neighbor and known my dad since he was about 10 years old. She moved up here around 1970 or so. Things won't be the same with her gone.

One of the last links to the world of music and dance of the 1930s, 40s & 50's passed away this week in Vancouver BC; Jeni LeGon, tap dance star, protegee of Bill Bojangles Robinson and legend of tap. I was fortunate indeed to have spent some time with her and interviewed her on my radio show some years ago. She certainly lived her life in a great big way.
