True. I am really thankful (even with all the humor and silly things I may say on the threads on the Lounge) that we have the FL.

Could I say, that I have not one time desired to see a thread shut down, but this may be one I would vote a positive yes for? We all know the Lounge is a great place, and for the mass members, they too, would agree. My question raised, is there a need to discuss this any longer? Do we need to fuel the fire more?

Why would you be stunned? I never said I defend him. All I said was I don't think he was trying to be a troll.

And "chime in" is a rather negative way of stating it.

It's a good example of what I was trying to express in my getting along thread that was so quickly killed.

If we can all speak freely, yet civilized with out the negative speak, I think everyone would be getting along much better.

I think when a number of folks read one's posts as jabbing/baiting/digging or otherwise trying to be cute in getting a rise outta folks, it gets called out. Sometimes it's in error - keyboards make for bad conversations - but there are patterns that develop.
