Thank you so much for sharing this PrettySquareGal - I enjoyed this article so much, especially because Donna Reed and my grandma were cousins! My grandma was born near Denison Iowa and my great grandma lived in Denison until she passed away when she was 98 years old. Funny thing is during the first gulf war, I used to write to the GI's over seas and that was also when I was in my very early 20's but of course I am not a star but they appreciated it anyways. I did keep the mail from them for several years but after a while it was time to clean house.
