Daylight pics of battered tan

I'm thinking about either a board racer (with only non-zip side pockets) or cafe racer in this hide. Does anyone have accurate daylight pics of it? I'm hoping that it's the pale tobacco colour on Aero's website as opposed to a darker brown or a more orangey shade.

Any dice? If anyone has strong recommendations against this colour ('No, you'd look like a Twiglet if you're skinny or a bashed potato if you're fat- go with tumbled cordovan, you fool!'), I'd also like to know ('Good Lord! An aubergine with glasses!').

getting an accurate color through computer monitor is almost impossible since our monitors is calibrated differently, once I ordered jacket online (with a local online leather jacket maker) to be made in what appeared on my screen as earthy tan, then what was arrived at my door a month later was a "HOT" orange thing... lucky after a year or so it faded and darkened into nicer shade (probably nicer/ less mushy than if it would have been an Earthy tan after one year)

Drop Aero a line and ask for a sample of the hide(s) in which you are interested. That will give you a better idea than photos online. Also, ask Aero for their advice too. Back when I ordered my Bootlegger, I got some samples and was interested in the cherry intially, though after speaking to Aero about what it would look like made up and what I was after, I went with cordovan. They were, of course, entirely right: cordovan made up in a jacket was the slightly darker look I was after, whereas the cherry would have been a bit light in that sort of quantity. I think that's your best route to go. Well.... other than taking the time to make the trip to Galashiels to see the factory.... I went up last Summer when my jacket production slot came to the to of the waiting list, and I was able to choose the exact hide from which my latest jacket was made.
