I'm sure this has been posted before, but I would love more information about D.L. Cerney. I know they used to sell deadstock in the 80s and now apparently do very good reproduction gab shirts for men. Do they also sell vintage?

Can one of you guys (guttersnipe, mattfink, etc) post some detailed photos of their shirts? What is their pricing like?

Thanks!

I've been there once, a few weeks back, and saw no sign of vintage (though they said some of their garments are constructed of vintage fabric). I thought the stuff looked nice enough, but it was not very affordable. I wasn't tempted, at those prices, to buy.

So, what sort of prices are we looking at? What one individual may find expensive, another may find reasonable. Depending on the shirt, $150 has been reasonable to me.

I think that's the approximate range (perhaps a bit lower).

If I were spending $150 on a sports shirt, I'd buy vintage over what they offer, but you may feel differently.

DL Cerney offers a wide range of variations on a small handful of designs for men and women. For men they carry super high-waisted hollywood waist flat front dress slacks in various vintage appropriate colors of wools, gabardines, linens and corduroys. They also carry high-waisted, wide-legged work slacks in denim and corduroy. Their slacks run around $180. They also carry two toned ricky jackets and loafer jackets for upwards of $200. The loafer jackets are often paired with slacks making for some really sharp casual suits. As mentioned their shirts run for around $150, and are mostly dual pocket, neck loop gab shirts with mid-1950s length lapels.

They carry vintage neckties, but that's the only vintage they carry.

I have one (maybe 2...I don't remember) shirts from them. Purchased on Ebay, so I never paid $150. The quality is amazing. I live in NY, but have only been to the store a few times. Like Resortes says, the suits are incredible. The pants mostly have high fishtail backs and are made of substantial materials. I'd love to treat myself to a pair someday.

Looks killer! How about those jackets? Any photos? For around $200, I could get a nice vintage one, but if it looks right...

I'm most likely going to hand write them a letter asking for photos and info, perhaps a few fabric samples.

Thanks for the info so far chaps, keep it coming!
