I totally agree on the quality point. Some months ago you could get brogues everywhere around here. But most of them looked like they would fall apart within a month. Not to mention the cheap look of it. I bought a pair of heeled brogues second hand, because they were as cheap as they looked :)

i'm currently lusting over these... they are by noa noa, my mother gave me a pair of their shoes for my birthday two years ago and they are great quality, i wear them a lot and they'r still fine. last summer i saved up for another pair of t-straps by them, grat shoes too. maybe i'll get these when they are on sale, since i buy most of my clothes myself and rarely ask for anything :D

edit: ps: the ankle strap is removable!

I was zipping through Liberty today and was stopped in my tracks by the utterly gorgeous display of Manolo Blahniks. There's some seriously vintage inspiration going on there this season.

Not for us ladies, but I've been looking around for shoes for Lilypie, and I came across these.

Aren't they adorable? I pretty much love all of the little girl shoes on that website.

Miss Sis both clarks are really cute but on my screen the black ones look green and I thought was super cute then I read that they were black and while still cute and much more versatile green would be cute and unusual.

Babydoll those are really cute boots I tried putting boots on both my boys when they were babies but their little feet just wouldn't co-operate with getting into them.

Adrianvsrocky cute boots.

These boots are velcro all the way down the top, so I think that would aid in getting them on. As it is, Lilypie has VERY chubby feet so she doesn't wear shoes yet, and barely keeps socks on. If she's on the floor crawling the combo of her chubby feet and legs leads to the socks working themselves off rather quickly. I think I have some time before I really needs shoes for her. But I'm in love with all of the darling mary janes on that website. I want so many of them for her!

(Funny but true: whenever she's in her car seat and I'm driving she always pulls her left sock off and chews on it. Not the right, just the left. Quirky kid.)

I agree, green would be fab. They do do alot of unusal coloured shoes but none that I felt I would wear so much as the ones I posted. I actually *needed* black shoes as I wore my other pair out. I'm not a great fan of wearing black but I still need a pair now and then.

I have the brown suede ones, as do a couple of my vintage gal pals, and we all love them! So comfy! Unfortunately I bought them before they went in the sale. Grrr!

Forever 21 shoes? Ladies, I am thinking toward Reading and will not suffer another year with hurting toes! I found these

but am unsure about the comfort. Basic tied oxford with low heel (like man's). Are they worth the money or can i get better somewhere else.

Thanks! Mary sorry about the image)

Looking for some basic pumps that are easy to combine, I found these today:

When I came home, I was surprised to find that they are black (they looked dark brown in the store) but I think they are still nice.

I also found these and simply love them!

They look a bit greyish in the pic, but they're really stark black.
Because my heels are so straight, I never wore anything but Mary Janes - but I liked these so much that I just had to believe the sales lady when she said those white leather stickers will help to prevent my heels from slipping out. It seems they really do help a bit, but I'm still walking kind of akward in them. I hope I will get used to it, because I really adore the style!

If they are still a bit slippy with the heel grips in, you can also add a cushion insole. If a full one makes the toes too snug, just cut it short at around the arch (or find a half-size one). I have a narrow heel and usually the grips are sufficient, but if needed I add an insole and that does the trick.

Both pairs are quite cute BTW.

Ooo, I quite like these. I see you are also in Canada Black Dahlia. Did you buy them in a store or online? May I ask where you found them?

Oh, oh, oh, I have just discovered that Zappos now has a Canadian site with $10 flat rate shipping! SQUEE! They have them there but I also see that Naturalizer carries them. Might have to head to the mall and check them out. I love the other Naya shoes they have at Zappos.
