There's an Ebay seller, vintagebluemoon100, who sells reproduction tooled 40s style wedges for $70. You can have your pic of size and color.

These are actual vintage, I'm not sure exactly how old, but they belonged
to my Mother in Law, who was in the WAVES in WWII. She was a saver.
The gold ones fit me, but I probably won't wear them, they are uncomfortable.

When I was little I played dress-up with a pair of clear heels like this. What could be better when you think you're Cinderella?! Wish I had those today . . .
They are very narrow. I can't put them on.I like to look at them though.

I bought a pair of Naturalizer mary janes in black leather with a 2" heel and they are the most comfortable heels I own (now that they're broken in). I don't know if they still carry that style, but they have a few cute ones on sale here:

The hand tooled leather shoes w/ the selection of size and color are also available at http://www.mybabyjo.com I've been eyeing these for a little while now.

You can never really have enough shoes, can you?

Scarlett, since you are in LA you might want to go to Olvera street to find the handtooled shoes (and purses). they may be a bit cheaper than at mybabyjo and the ebay seller i mentioned.

Those perspex heels are stunning!

I also find it very hard to find vintage shoes that fit my big hoof!! It is great that we have a good selection of repro shoes and a lot of the modern designers do some lovely vintage inspired...thank goodness. :eusa_clap

I Love Comfort brand?

Does anyone wear the I Love Comfort line of shoes... I've been checking them out on the Sears's website and they seem to have a few styles that tie into vintage styles. Also from what I've seen on Ebay it looks as though they've been around for awhile. I have on job where I'm on my feet all day and I'd like to try them there. Anyone have any luck?

I was thinking something like this...

SheBear,
Love your shoes. I think you can wear a ton with those shoes..but I picture it with a 40s a line black skirt, sweet white blouse with buttons/ruffles/ribbons…and a 40s blazer.

Oh how I love spectator shoes! These are my new ones:
