Newsflash!:

I am now able to make my passport replicas with genuine gold foil covers, like this:

If I get too good at this I'll have the Feds beating down my door... or in my case, I suppose it'll be Interpol.

Kind regards,

Top craftmanship, do me a favor an if you see The Jackle, tell him that he must come to my house to have dinner. ;)

Thought I'd bump this old thread up for those who never got to see it.

I've now moved beyond heat-transfer foil to genuine die-stamped foil:

Though not vintage, this cover better shows the detail and quality of the new cover stock and foil method I'm using:

Here are some newer images of my vintage passport replicas:

US circa 1930s:

UK circa 1940s:

Pre-WWII Japanese:

So, if anyone is interested in a vintage passport, I can fully customize these with your own photo and fictional-travel visas. Drop me a PM or e-mail.

Kind regards,
Indy

What would be sharp would be one for Ellery Queen, ca. 1938 -- and use a pic of Richard Carlson from Hold That Ghost, wearing the rimless spectacles and looking very studious:

Hold That Ghost 12.jpg

That's not a passport-type photo, though. How about this?

(I originally wrote "Hugh Marlowe," because I always confuse those two actors . . . and Marlowe did play Ellery Queen on TV -- )

Wondering what a 60's era US passport for Napoleon Solo, or Russian passport for Illya Kuryakin would look like?
