Hi MM click on the sizing link above, trust me, they are modelled directly of a pair of XX501's, they are wind-proof, bomb proof etc and they are similarly priced to 12oz Levis, for my money here, they are a wonderful bargain. Here is pic, cuffed,

cuffing selvage / selvedge jeans

Basically, what do y'all think is a good width for a cuff?

Personally, I still don't know if I'm a fan of cuffing at all..

But then when I see one like this

I think it looks good

But if I see ones like this

I think it looks pretty bad, stupid even

Here's an article I found showcasing different types of cuff

I think they both look fine. I usually wear mine somewhere between the two. Any more than the second, though, suddenly gets ridiculous.

It's a personal thing the old 'cuff' or 'turn up'. My flimsy modern 501s don't suit it. My Freddies & Levi 505s IMHO look great with a 'cuff' but I personally wouldn't want to show quite as much as the second picture.

You might be right...I've certainly seen some illegal 'cuffing'.

The wearer of this pair is now doing serious jail time.:eusa_doh:

Like I said, notice Marlon @ 1.5 inch. There was a legal precedent here for it in parliament, seriously. Trousers jeans chino's you name it, it is 1.5 inches, unless of course if you buy your jeans so long you are forced to use "bucket cuffs". Tip is go 1.5 inches longer and then turn em up.

that's about what I did on my recent Rising Sun purchase...
By going in to the factory/ shop I got them hemmed on the spot- although the guys there seem to prefer the turn-ups larger.
