Crosshatch Material - Proper Name?

I think that particular cloth has a name that would ring bells among the Ladies. Lot's of dresses in that type of cloth in the '60s. I remember my Mom's lime green number.

I had a suit in that cloth- it was linen/rayon but I can't think of a specific name for it.
