A few more, tatty lining with missing tag, illegible sizing tag, and added eyelets for the laces...well loved by someone. I'll get a fit pic at some point. It was listed as 44L and ends just past my belt, but above jean pockets, which I like.

Continues to interest me. Looks like Horsehide, quality horsehide. That zipper is unique. Seldom seen category. I like a Jacket that just stands on its' merits. No label, just have to judge the quality hands on. Yes, it needs a body for some pics!

Wow! Those two will stop you in your tracks.

Eastman products always draw my attention. I've owned three in the Italian Horsehide and they were beautiful.

I see very few of these and I don't get it. These are Beauties!

I need to educate myself on Buco jackets. I find this a Buco Style I would like to own. The Belt is so fine!

Is the RMC Buco a recent or past edition?

In fact, both of these jackets are really great, in terms of quality and OTR fit. I absolutely agree with you, the eastman leather jackets are exceptional. The Buco is from the 2016 release with the yellow sleeve lining. They have reissued the jacket for 2021. It has a bordeaux colored sleeve lining now.

Thanks for the information. I found an original Buco of this model having sold in the classifieds here! I did not see it, moved quickly.

Got a call to try on my jacket with the liner already joined on the sleeve and around the neck and the epaulette is on.

Belt loops and belt not there yet and main zip still obviously not finished since the front is still open.
But with epaulette on and all the hardware i can start to see "the look" and im pleased.

But .... phew its like the longest constipation... its been half a year being worked, with here and there sporadic updates when its finally out i'm sure there would be blood on the stool.

I'm considering ordering a customised cross zip, and figured this was a good place for a question:

I much prefer the look of a wind flat that tapers down so that it is very narrow at the bottom, as on the 618 on the left, compared to the strip remaining thick right to the bottom on the 118. Why does this vary? Does the angle there impact anything else? I like it better when the main zipper has more of an angle to it when zipped up. Thanks, chaps!

Thanks man, this is the first time i see a W collared jacket by them, so far my other jackets have been collarless or stand collar, happy with this one.

It looks great. I remember you working through the pocket configuration. Well, you made the right choice. And the thoughtfully placed white leather works perfectly. Just right, not overdone. And how you decided to secure the epaulettes is original and cool. Like I said, it all looks great.

Thanks J,the lighter part is beige/ khaki color exposed zipper tape :) This maker has potential, they have been making jackets for the past 20+ yrs .. but currently they don't concentrate on making jackets despite putting banner as such on the front of the building. maybe it will change in the future, but my jacket is probably the only jacket they work on the past few months and it is taking half a year partly blamed on covid19 but still when there are other mass order like making leather pouches or beach tents, my jacket is quickly paused until they have free time.

They are talented. My bad, yes khaki. I will blame my phone screen and not my poor eyesight.
