For sale - Crombie British Army Green Wool Great Coat.
It’s an authentic recreation of a World War II military coat from the Crombie archive, originally supplied to the War Office for officers of the armed forces.
Slim fitting coat hand made in England from Yorkshire milled raw wool. Handcrafted chalk-filled brass buttons with the Crombie crest, and Crombie signature buttons elsewhere.
This beautiful greatcoat is warm and very well made with multiple ways to do it up against the elements.
Crombie is no longer in business and this coat was bought for me as a present approx fourteen years ago from their now closed flagship store which was located in Mayfair London. It cost £950.
I have only worn it a handful of times.
It is a tag size 44, actual measurements are below but please bear in mind the coat can be tightened and done up or left loose with the variety of buttons both inside and out. It will suit all kinds of different heights as they were intended.
Pit to pit = 22”
Shoulder = 19”
Back length from collar = 43”
Sleeve = 26”
