I got some old Luccheses with a stitched vamp. The kids these days say 90s is vintage, but I ain't buyin' it.

I've got these Dan Post, too, with the buckstitching on the vamp and tops. I'm a fan of how they look, but I rarely wear them. They are some of the earliest attempts at the "cshion comfort" insole, it's some kind of memory foam or something, with a slick cloth finish. I like a plain old leather insole, but I got a heck of a deal on these, and I didn't know at the time I'd dislike the insole so much.

Great one's Dale. I was pretty sure you had some. I've often thought that I would like the feather or leaf as an overlay on a vamp.
