Sorry to hear. I have two or three pairs of the 1883's and I love them. Can you take pics of your boots to share? I assume you're using the stock photos above?

Yeah, those were the stock photos. Here are pics of my own boots . . . first, the tan mad dogs:

Now for the chocolate mad dogs:

I took the pics with my phone, so I apologize that they're not of the best quality.

Quality wise they appear well made and are very comfortable, they state made in Spain ...I believe currently Sendra boots/shoes are made in Venezuela? to be honest I'd have preffered them full height and without the zip but hey at 10 Euro what can you do?

I actually thought that they looked similar to my pair of Sendra, yes I do wear them often at least through the less warm months( most of year here!) but try to keep them dry, I do get a thin rubber non slip sole put on them though.
I've been looking for a pair of engineers boots with removable harness/straps, Loblan do one but I am not a great fan of oiled leather, I saw a great pair of Sendra 'engineers'/cowbot boots on a stall in a Spanish car boot but they were only a UK 8 and too tight also the diameter of the upper shaft was too small they were however very nicely made in an un oiled leather.

Man there are some real nice boots on this thread! I have a sort of Boot Tale I would like to share.

Some years back My wife and daughter decide to do a "Girl Trip" for about a week out to the state of Washington...their goal was to do "High Tea" at the Empress Hotel in British Columbia. "Hmmm they are going to be gone for 10 days" I thought "What can Wilbur do?" "Ride my Harley across country"!!!! "Goal in Mind?" Paul Bond Boot Company in Nogales, AZ!!!! Yea I can do that!

I left Chattanooga, TN went down through the deep southern route and ended up in Nogales and damned if I didn't find a pair of Sharkskin boots that fit spot on! Made the trip perfect!

I think this guys name was "Spider" he was managing the floor of the shop.

This was the Man that made my boots just way cool!!

Yep, these boots are certainly worth the trip every time I put them on. They are very comfortable. What blew me away was walking in there and finding a pair of sharkskin sitting on their "returned" rack which is basically what they are in perfect condition and a dead on fit like they were made for me!
