Just like the title states, I was wondering if anyone can shine a light on this jacket?

as you can see from the pictures it has a red tartan lining and removeable liner. The front of the press studs have the old bird logo on them not the new logo as the labels do. Its brown wax. Has quilted elbow and shoulders, and also has a reflective strip on the belt.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The guys over at the filmjackets.com forum are the experts in spotting Belstaff genuines or fakes, I'd recommend posting over there. Not saying someone here won't know or be able to help you, but someone there definitely will.

Yep, I was just about to say the same thing. Some of the guys there are very knowledgeable about Belstaff and will gladly help you out.

I've never seen a Belstaff jacket with sleeve logos on BOTH sleeves before. If they made it, it must have been for a special order/production.

Going from the padding, lining and the size tags where they are, it looks like a late 80s early 90s jacket (They did also produce some jackets with logos on each sleeve at this time.)

It does look very 'new' though for a jacket from that era, sleeve labels look very yellow which would be odd for a jacket of 20 some years old and a feature many of the fakes do have. I've not seen a fake version of this style myself but it does look in unusually good condition for its age, if it is genuine. As said, you are good asking over on Filmjackets for this kind of thing.

I cannot find the same jacket anywhere on the Web. I was thinking/hoping 90's limited edition. But like you say it is in unreal condition for a 20 year old jacket. It is the lack of real labels, and the fact the bird logo on the pop fasteners is the older logo from the 60's and 70's jackets, and from the drizabone days. Also it's worth to note that the zip is made by salmi?

Just a side not so to speak:
If you bought it to sell it and make a few £££, the big money is on the black version Trails Master(or is it Trial) and better still from the 1950s to 1970s
