somebody said u.s. wings bought cooper out....i been going to macy all nice stores leather jackets are every where. they are not selling well.andrew marc made a nice leather jacket....i live in boston i really do not see to many people with leather jackets on....i think the fade is over alot of polo fleece jackets.........

BTW, Neil Cooper USA's web site (http://www.neilcooperusa.com/) is now gone. I seriously doubt that they're coming back.
Of course, I have this pet theory that the Elizabeth, NJ factory of US Wings is actually the former Cooper factory, and is now the supplier for several different house brands (e.g., Legendary USA's) of consumer-grade leather flight jackets: all those V-shaped A-2 pocket flaps just look *too* similar...

Yeah, I found a lot of sites that list them as out of stock. I sent an email to Gift of Wings, so I guess we'll find out soon! If they are out of date, I'll get a US wings G-1, or one cooper I found at a local shop. Thanks for your reply!

Okay, I called Gift of Wings, the fella said that Cooper has stopped making jackets, but swear they will be back up soon. He did say they had a few left in stock, so anyone that wants one at the old price should email him about availability.

Cooper coming back?
The last time I talked to Neil Cooper he said they would be back in business, but that was awhile ago. I have heard nothing since, and all lines of communication are gone, even the direct lines I had. Too bad, as they made a decent jacket for the money.
