The experiment is called Dreispitz´s Hat as opposed to Schrödinger´s Cat. It is a more empirical approach, however. :D

Now you've opened the box and spoiled things. The hat is either alive or dead instead of in the twilight zone. So which is it?

The precence of the hat might be misleading. A lounger´s first perception might lead to an intentional fallacy. Hat, parcley, Bavarian sausage ... serve as constats. The hat is a variable, unusual for the system "fridge", jet predictable. Could have been a screwdriver, planet or armchair, instead. The hat was at hand and appeared practical for the purpose.

Well, the actual question is: ist the light in the fridge on or off when the door is closed? :D

ok, a serious question

I thought a good brushing would take care of any larve on a hat? how can you ensure it's clean before storing it for the summer? or long term storage?

if you were freezing it to kill things, is it permanent until it comes out of the freezer? or does the larve go into hibernation?

is there any other detection methods that you can tell if you have larve on your hat?
