Saw this today, thought I would share. This is vintage, pre WWII? I can say this, it was the heaviest and stiffest hat I have ever handled. The quality of the leather hat band was a thing of beauty. A side note, the shot of the underside, I don't believe those are cracks, just wrinkles. This hat was extremely sturdy.

I did not. I don't have room for collecting, unfortunately, otherwise it would have been an easy purchase for me if I owned a house instead of an 800 square foot apartment... I barely have room for the five vintage hats I currently own...

I did not notice in the store, but looking at the photos I see it used to have a chin strap, the holes are there for one, at least I assume as much.

Yes, I live in Colorado. It was not expensive. $75 dollars, already at 25% off that, and wont be long before it is at 50% off.

Older CAN Stetsons are nice hats. At least within my limited experience. The one I have is of incredible quality.

I have a couple and agree. I'm not even into this type of hat and I'd snap it up in a NY minute. It needs a loving home.
