Hello all,
Came across this collection of photo's the other week, and they're really quite interesting. I really like to see photo's of real people wearing clothes, rather than movie stars or catalogue illustrations. Apologies if they're a bit fuzzy, they are just amateur snaps after all. I didn't really know the best place to post them, so I thought I'd make a thread. I'd like any suggestions as to anywhere else I could post them.
Start off with some portraits.
There is a serious slant on that breast pocket there. I assume early 1920s? I'd say it's a pretty timeless look otherwise though, with the collar pin and tie etc.
Nice haircut.
Not so nice haircut, but some might like it. A bit 'teen America'.
Another nice haircut.
Sorry for this one being so pale, I assume it must have been displayed somewhere.
Fellow on the left sporting one of those great DB waistcoats from the 1900s.
Classic look, you ask me. Not a penny wrong with it. I assume late 1950s.
A bit blustery in a raincoat, but surprisingly absent of a hat. Probably blew away. Hal, this one is for you!
Two old gents. I like his gardening smock.
A look I try to maintain on the beach.
