Collar change

So I e-mailed Carrie at Insurection yesterday and asked her if she could contact Aero and switch my standard Highwayman collar for an August collar. I have a Sheene in Brown FQHH on order. I'm told there really isn't much difference other than the August being slightly smaller. I figured the standard collar might be a little too wide. I'm sure it would look nice regardless.... Any experiences with the August collar????Thanks

I have an "August" on order, coming in about 5 weeks. Always liked a smaller sized collar, and I noticed the Aug. had one, and was one of the reasons I ordered it. Will give update when I receive jacket,(if you can hold out that long).

That slightly smaller collar looks 80's to me. Haven't seen it in person though.

Agreed, although in my experience you don't need hot water to do that, just shape it by hand every time you put the jacket on, and it will quickly stay in shape.
