Cocktails with grenadine

I'm looking for some input and hope some mixological Merlins might meliorate my mind (alliteration for the win!).

I'm looking for a cocktail that will properly showcase the flavor and color of some homemade grenadine. There are so many drinks I have found that include grenadine, and at the same time, so few that are standards (at least from what I have seen in my Bar Guide). I was hoping for some recommendations for a cocktail that liets the grenadine shine.

The Bacardi cocktail seems straight forward (plus I have everything I'd need without having to spend more at the liquor store). Is it any good?

It's a classic. Should show it off nicely as long as it's not too limey. From the date of the post I'm guessing this is done and dusted but how did it go?

Were you happy with the grenadine and, if I may ask, how did you make it?
