I am wondering what kind of clothing he is wearing in this image.
If I am not mistaken the jacket is a "Ricky" but I could be very off. It seemed to me that most Rickys have zippers. Any help in identification of his outfit would be much appreciated.

Looks like a two tone, possibly leather and wool, jacket of the same type as the Aero Aquamarine.... the Simmonds Bilt brand did ,em originally. In leather, anyhow. I'm sure there were many versions.

The Aeromarine does seem to match the same style pretty closely, although I have yet to find an image of one with the right two-tone color scheme. As for the shirt it seems to be a simple two-tone short-sleeve buttoned shirt. The trousers (to me) appear to be high-waisted peg trousers. I can't really say exactly because I only got those terms through doing some personal research. The whole ensemble is c. 1946 or later so post-war fashion is where I started looking.

Nope.
Could be an ad for the 2007 video game BioShock. The game has a vintage feel and the main antagonist is named Andrew Ryan.

It's actually from BioShock 2. I figured since the city in the game was built in 1946, and since the city's civil war began in 1958, that the ad must be from that period.

That's a very pre-war look, though: early 1930s, not late. And that jacket configuration, I believe, is even earlier. It's a really nice graphic.

I'd have guessed later 30s for the overall look, though it's one that wouldn't have been esepcially out of place, imo, even by 50 or so. A jacket variation like that I could see being all wool.... looks like the light panels are on the front alone, not extending to the back, which would suggest more wool all over to me. I'm sure Aero could easily do an Aquamarine in this sort of scheme (maybe with that light coloured, mwhh they did on the "Summer Halfbelt" a year or two ago - and on the Aquamarine - the ivory coloured stuff - paired with a seal brown hide). That'd be a cool look. I'd love to see it in all wool too.

Trews definitely look more 30s wide leg to me than 50 pegs.
