As far as "detergent" for the liner I have had great success with OxyClean. I remove the liner, mix the OxyClean in my bathroom sink, place a drinking glass of just the right height in the middle of the sink mixture and drape the satin over that so the logo portion is held up by the glass. I don't know if this was necessary because the cleaner seemed to be gentle but my thinking was that it would be OK for the top of the liner to absorb some of the cleaner up from the bath around it but I didn't feel comfortable just wadding the whole thing up and soaking it the way I soaked the 'side-walls', if you will.
