Cleaning the hat (inside)?

Hi to all you. Maybe this has been address before, I bought two hats in a thrift store, they are good but had some sweat and grease stains inside the hat and I can not wear it with those stains. Does any of you knows how the same can be cleaned? I read alot about how to care and clean the ouside, but, I did not find any site or information abot the care of the inside. I forgot to mention, one hats is completly satin with leather headband, the other is satin but in the crown has plastic. My best to all...

I think you would clean it the same way. If the liner is in bad shape I would just remove it. Nobody can see it anyway.

Is it on the liner or sweat? If it's the liner, cut the stitches, hand wash it with cold water and sew it back in. If it's the sweatband, get it replaced.
