Hello guys,

Just found out Rumble59 in Germany is doing some kind of civilian B-10 jacket. Sure, if you look for a pure B-10 repro, this one won't be for you. There's a brand label instead of the mil-spec one, as well as some brand logo print on the inner wind flap, and the fur is obviously fake. Appart from that, I must say I'm really tempted to get one for this winter, as it does look pretty good for the price asked.

What do you think about it?

Looks as though it is a warm and lightweight jacket. Polyester is second only to Acrylic in warmth of synthetic materials. I have found both to be warm liners. At that price I would go for it.

Have bought a couple of items from the brand in the past and have had no complaints at the price point they charge.

I have one of the (cotton) knit MC jumpers (the BRMC one). Very nice quality, washes well. Ideally, it would be 3-4" shorter, but all the same a nice piece.

Have one of their jumpers too, and I do love it. I think I'll try their B-10 jacket this fall.

I have their Claim Crawler winter jacket. Just what I was looking for BUT! Though the body is supremely warm, the arms are another matter and a biting wind cuts straight through. Shame no one makes an arm warmer(like a body warmer but arms instead).
The B10 is a nice style here but lets hope it has better insulation in the arms.

All their fur lined jackets mention "Teddy Bear Cloth" I do believe no Teddy Bears were harmed during the manufacture of these jackets.(I think that should be Rumble 59's Tag Line)

Very good. I agree. Sense of humor similar to mine.

Are you sure about it?? This picture may have been taken at Rumble59's manufacturer:

Love the style but to be honest at the price I would want a real fur collar.
i know Eastman (Buzz?) and others do them with real fur but Rumble don't go on about 100% authenticity to WWII spec so this would make a nice budget starter.
Could always cut up a 1940s beaver(sheepskin) coat and get a decent collar made.

@Brettafett , yes, I'm planing a trip to Peter's warehouse next week, mainly to try on the B-10. But if they're the same as his old ones, they'll be too short for me.

Cocker, don't you want to check out his 'new 2016' A-2s... Give us the run down...
I have sent a few emails, but he doesn't reply.

No problem, Brett! I'll try to snap a few pictures of the B-10/15 and the A-2 when I'll be there.

Sorry mate, is that meant to be a private message? I have no idea what it means, a little to cryptical for me I'm afraid.

And then theres this...

Slightly more, but 'appears' to be a mouton collar. B-15s also.
Have tried contacting them a few times, but, alas....

This looks like a new synthetic collar to me, the pile of real fur(mouton, mutton or sheepskin/beaver) looks a little more full and luxurious to this. But thanks for showing :)
