This is from the Telegraph.
Among other things, this seems to reverse the long held belief that Roosevelt was taken in by Stalin, but Chuirchill remained wary of him. By the end of the war, of course, Churchill clearly saw the Russians' intentions regarding Poland. Real afficionados of WSC will not be surprised at all by his comments about Gandhi. Churchill remained adamently against Indian independence.
Anyhoo, there is obviously a huge amount of raw material for the Winston Churchill industry to digest.

Pretty amusing that he threatened to resign every time he didn't get his way. That sort of fits, in my view. I'll bet that he was a sore loser at anything.

Thanks! I read somewhere that British schoolchildren aren't even taught about Winston Churchill any more. I hope that's not true.

Probably owing to how he felt about Islam. Considering the dominance of "PC" in British society today, I would expect that he is due to be demonized some day.

His assessment of Ghandi was bang-on, though probably not for the reasons that he thought Ghandi was bad. Ghandi held some very racist beliefs during his time in S. Africa, and published these beliefs. Not so well known.
