Christmas Jackets?

I just received my Christmas gift courtesy of JC, and I have two more gifts coming shortly courtesy of BK.

Nothing new coming in (that I know of). But I'm seriously back logged on taking some pics of new jackets I've received in the last six months or so. Thunderbay, Bootlegger and another that's slipping my mind right now. Man I'm gettin' lazy in my ole age.

Got my Vanson "Rush" jacket coming in on the 19th and also an Alexanders Roadster in Oilpull Steer ( which I picked up on the outlet pages for £300 )

This on the back of selling my Suburban and a couple of Schott jackets ...... 3 out, 2 in ..... I'm improving

This morning, I was just telling my wife about the Rush jacket you have coming. We are both big Vanson fans. Be sure to put up photos when it arrives.

Fingers crossed i'll have my Waldo Pepper (Liberty Russet HH, with Bronco collar instead of the original, dark tan liner, golden brown nits and honey buttons, light olive thread) from BK before Xmas.

I'm thinking of getting an Aero Teamster in Cordovan FQHH with a tweed body lining & corduroy sleeve lining... But I'd have to sell my Schott 618 & Schott 641HH for that. I'd have to make about $600-700 off of those; you guys think that's reasonable? Any takers?

Overheard a conversation between two of my female colleagues at work: "What can I get my husband that he'd really, really want?" I piped in,"Leather jacket -- a good one." So they did a survey and asked all the guys in the office what they'd most like to see under the tree, and when leather jacket was mentioned there was 100% unanimity. "Oh, yeah. Definitely."

Alas, my Christmas jacket tale is one of woe. I ordered a Pre War Irvin from Aeroleather back in September which eventually arrived last week. Unfortunately the seam tapes were a different colour from the hide and it will spend Xmas winging its way back to Gala!

still, it will be back in the new year.

Wow! You guys have some great jackets coming this Christmas. Nice to know I'm not alone in this obsession. I'm hoping to see plenty of pics!

I've had an Aero Dustbowl in a dark seal Italian Horsehide on order for a while- it's already been made once and sent back without me ever seeing it. So hopefully, I'll be getting a call from the good folks at Thurston any day now...

And once the storm of the decade subsides here in SF, I'm going over to Johnson Leathers to pick up a custom half-belt. I had it made in their overdyed black Horween (loosely based on the Levi's black-blue speedway design.)
