Christmas in July.....

That's what it "Felt",(pun intended) like too me when I opened up the box that I picked up from the post office today.

I've been anxiously waiting the arrival of a "Blue" Disney Lancer that I got from OFAS about a week and 1/2 ago. It was from a Lounger here as a matter of fact (epr25), if I'm not mistaken, it might've even been in the classifieds.

Anyway, to my surprise when I opened the box, which was unusually large, I noticed right off the bat that there were not one, but 2 hats in the box. I said to myself, there must be some mistake....I only paid for 1 hat. I looked at the shipping label to see if it was correct, thinking it was maybe the wrong order, but it wasn't. I then went to my ebay account to make sure that was right.....scratching my head, I wrote the seller/lounger letting them know of their mistake and waiting to hear from them on what to do next?
In the mean time I was looking at this Pristine, (looks like) never worn, Chocolate brown, Comet 4 by Knox, with a custom edge. What a sweet little Lid. Well, I had to run a few errands, so I did just that.
When I returned I checked my email, there was a message from Erin,(epr25) answering my message saying that, "Yes I thought that you might be able to make use of the other hat. I just want stuff out of my house so I thought you might dig it. Since they were the same size I thought that it would work for you."
Now how Cool is that? I just wanted to share this little story. I hope I didn't embarrass you Erin, I just think it was very generous of you to do what you did and wanted to give Props to another fellow lounger. Thank you very much.

I like vintage hats that have names. Comet and Lancer are only a few letters away from Comet and Prancer, too. I had a Knox Wolfhound in my annoying 7 5/8 size at one time, but I had to part with it because the sweatband stitching was falling apart and I didn't know how to fix it. Anyway, that's a great gift you received. Do something equally nice to somebody else.

As a matter of fact, I'm stretching my OR as we speak because my 16 yr.old nephew said he liked it.

I wish there were Lucky, I would've used it for sure.....but I did use all of my 65 allowed in my Feedback.
