I agree that LL is the best. They made a custom cascade for me recently and there is really nothing to complain about and very much to admire. I may decide to get buried in it some day. They just get better with age so wear it often!

I had this one a while ago, but ended up selling it.
I was offered a grand for it, a week after it sold for a quarter that. [huh]

I'll be making the drive down from Seattle to Portland day after tomorrow. I'll be looking to pick up a pocket padded Columbia. My Vanson PLU-3 comet is a 46, but it's a little tighter than I like to have my riding jackets. My Langlitz will be large enough to where I can wear a medium thick sweater or hoodie under it for those cooler PNW evenings.

Good Choice in Jackets!

I just got my second one.

I'll be posting a review of it contrasting it with the one shown here.

My new Jacket is like this:

Columbia in Dark Brown Goat
Cossack Collar
Straight Zip, no offset
Padded Shoulders and Elbows
No watch pocket or outside breast pocket
2 Gun Pockets, both Goatskin Lined
Both outside Handwarmers Goatskin Lined
Forearm Pocket on Right
Biceps Pocket on Left
2 Stash Pockets
Inside zippered Wallet pocket
Inside Map Pocket
Talon Zips

The Goat is absolutely Magnificent! Supple right on first try on.

This jacket is kinda Cafe Like, kinda Columbia like

Seriously think about Goat as an option. You can lounge around in this jacket and be comfortable, yet the Jacket still weighs 8 pounds and is very impressive.

Name is the person who had it made originally.

If there is a Number only, it was bought off the rack in a "stock" size.

I just ordered my new one in a Stock size, but since I ordered it, it is considered custom and has my name and a serial number.

It's a beaut and the folks at langlitz said it was from the 70's but they couldn't find any wear on it at all. Great thrift stire find. I didn't know a brown Columbia would be so rare though? It's a ladies jacket too if that makes any further difference.

I don't know what size he is, but that Jacket will go ove 7# without the belt.

Mine has no belt loops, and none of the Fancy Lapel stuff and it Goes 7 1/2# in Goat.

Got it 2 weeks ago and am breaking it in a little for PIX.

My Full on Cow columbia is close to 10# if I remember.
