Have been wearing the Simons Shanghai mulholland repro for about 3 weeks now on and off. So far I’m still happy with it. It will take some time to break in but considering I don’t think I’ll ever be in a position to afford the real deal I’m happy to have picked this up.
The only real change proportionally I can tell between this one and the Freewheelers one is the shoulders on the real one seem to be broader, which I would have appreciated in the repro but still hasn’t put me off wearing it.

That looks fantastic, my untrained eye wouldn't be able to tell the difference with the "real" one. Any picture of the back?

A while back Ali Express had some two-tone brown and black aviator jackets (I think they were Tailor Brando) that I wished I'd jumped on at the time. I haven't seen them for ages. I hope they put those out again.

There’s a few YouTubers who have reviewed crush on retro boots very very positively for their price. I haven’t seen any reviews of their jackets. This looks really nice though. I did message them about a jacket because I was curious and whoever answered me explained that there are two factories owned by two different partners that make the various products and then list and sell them to the American market through crush on retro. Sure there will always be potential ethical concerns and if folks have those totally understandable. But with the success and for the money great value found in Bronson it looks like crush on retro might be the new Chinese go to.
Crush on Retro is easily the worst quality material and craftsmanship I’ve ever seen. I took the risk and lost big time. Can’t even wear them due to the pinching pain on the insoles. The fit is way off. The boots creased all over after walking 8ft. They’re a joke. Chinese garbage.

Stay away from Crush on Retro. Made in China junk sold from Indonesia. I took the gamble and lost. 300 bucks for unwearable crap. Cheap materials, lousy craftsmanship, horrible customer service. Should have spent a little more on something locally or even something quality but used. Live and learn I guess.

I saw your review and I have to say how I feel about it.

I bought a leather jacket from the Crush on Retro store and it tastes like plastic, I suspect the jacket is made of worse than faux leather.

This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had, not only Crush on Retro, but YR,C&C Factory Store, both of these stores have equally poor jackets, I have purchased horsehide jackets in succession, but I received them as cowhide jackets, they told me that the horsehide was sold out, but why didn't they tell me that before shipping! I will never trust these three stores again!

I’m in the middle of a PayPal dispute right now. Did you dispute on PayPal? How did it go and what did you say? You can message me if you want.

Hello, I'm new in this forum. I'm Italian. In last 2 years I bought, on AE ,7 leather Jackets . I found this forum looking for information about Chinese leather Jackets about brands like CIDU, JASHI or VELUOKDLY.
Mainly I'm a Schott collector .
I would like to share my experience with sellers and CH brands and ask suggestions.
please to meet you.

These photos are from Dylan at Brando Leathers. I purchased one of his 30’s HH Half Belts a few months ago and was really pleased with the quality and fit. I’m a 46/48 and his Asian 4XL fit just right. I’ve been wanting a burgundy/reddish J 24 style jacket with brass zips and buttons.
Thoughts appreciated.

Having just bought boots from Crush on Retro, I can tell you, you're definitely gambling. I lost. Also, the same products are available on AliExpess and TaoBao for like half the price.

The jacket looks good and I’ve read good experiences of dealing with Tailor Brando either through eBay or AE. It seems like the pictures have had their label blurred out. Which is a bit concerning. There does seem to be some definite differences in quality of leather depending on what label the jacket falls under and price point based on my own experience and what I’ve read throughout this post and others I.e Curphey leather gets a lot of comments on feeling thin and not very nice while other like Jiashi and Simon’s seem to have more favourable reviews. Might be best to find that out when considering.
