Upland, California. I know that town. It's got the most gorgeous collection of early twentieth century bungalows. You might even find a place like the Lounge there, though it is a might warm for Golden Age dress in the summer.

The lid in the auction might actually be something decent. It's most likely from A&F's Oshman's era. Nowhere near the quality stuff as the original outfit, but not too shabby. Still, hard to take a flyer sight unseen.

Here's what the seller had to say when I asked about the FL photo and the hat listed:

I do not know any thing about Fedora Lounge I purchased the photo from a photo studio site none the less my compliments to the photogragher and take it as a compliment. I am not very shady!I just could not get a good shot at that hat because the color is xo light. I often buy photos when I cannot get a good shot. Hats off to you!

She/he? actually answered twice, the first time saying:

It is the same exact hat but that is not where I got the phito.

Rusty - just how many "phito" studios are you modeling for down there?

"The model, his cigar, the Indiana Jones suitcase and props are not included."

Good to know! :D lol

The whole listing - and the replies frussel posted - makes a rather boozed impression. What's a Panana hat? ;)

Isn't that false advertising, or bait and switch?

I mean they put this incredible, irrestible model there ... just to make the hat look great ... and then the fine print says the model ISN'T even FOR SALE?

What a rip!

I wonder how much it would cost to include that model?

At least we can dream.

(Just joking, Rusty!)
