$4000 plus flights and hotel. Gives some context to other makers on here. I was hoping that someone with a better memory than me would chime in. I am sure Chapal have been mentioned on this forum but were no where near as expensive.

Yes, I wonder what the extra $$$ gets you aside from name recognition.

Made to Measure? For that price it should be bespoke.

I think you're just paying for the brand and the luxury they might throw around this experience because otherwise I don't see what makes this better than any other brands that we see around here.

For one quarter of the price or less you can get as good or better from Johnson Leathers. Just tell them what you want...

I bought a Chapal B3 directly from Paris before the Euro was introduced. Their jackets were on display at Grand Prix Raceway London where the prices were higher. My jacket cost 350 GBP. After the Euro was introduced prices went up by about 50% and have been climbing steadily ever since. The materials are high quality but designs are not as accurate as some others.
Prices are now intergalactic.

Intergalactic - sorry but that's what I thought too. Neat stuff, but way too far past the mark on price.
