Sometimes Romulus will sell a handful of jackets he’s found in a box or something, but yeah… I missed the boat on South Paradiso. No one does this type of stuff…

I can completely see Dolly Parton in this. I like that blue colour; it's not a million miles away (maybe just a little less green in the mix) from a petrol blue / turquoise colour that was very popular in British bike jackets in the 70s / early eighties.

interesting is they are open to custom sizing. I'm not sure of the quality but at this price point it seems like a contender for lower price jacket or riding jacket

They used to have a "custom" option listed on the website; that seems to have disappeared (perhaps it's easier to set reasonable expectations when people apply directly?), but I believe they do still offer some customisable options on application. I know I'd quite fancy one of the more traditional cross-zip styles in the midnight blue colour that they don't currently offer as standard on those models.

Quality-wise, I've heard from a few folks who've worn them riding and are very happy with them. There certainly aren't many alternatives for a number of the styles they do if you also want CE armouring.

I couldn't find a still picture of this, but in this music video for Thunderbird you can see a very young beardless Billy F Gibbons rocking a cool leather jacket.
I'm guessing '72 or '73, definitely not footage from a live performance of the song, because he already started growing a Beard by '74 and the song came out in '75.

In the Bob Aldrich's political thriller "Twilight's Last Gleaming", there are many M65s around. Most notably worn by Burt Young and by the Man : Burt Lancaster himself ! I have noticed that they are worn more tight in this movie from 1978 than in more recent movies from the 80s etc...
