I think they get that way by pinching the crease with thumb & index finger when placing & removing your hat. Use the brim instead. With a bit of steam the crease can be opened back up & moved back out. This 3X was pitched bad when it came to me. Now it's a favorite & I really like the shape.

Yup that exactly why the crease is now really pushed together.. it is so natural just to grab the crease and put it on

bought some of the hat stiffener and going to try if it doesn’t hold I think it’s time to have it reblocked and shaped
