Very much agree. I love his work and recall especially an exhibition at the National Gallery here in London in a very hot summer - I think 1995. The paintings transported me from the heat and pollution of central London to the crisp mountain air, clear blue skies and the overwhelming green of the forest: Romantic in every sense.
