Just don't wear 'em around airports or you'll have some new doggie friends. Going through security would be fun. Reminds me of the last time I was leaving Amsterdam and, while waiting in the security line, I suddenly realized.... Interesting flight.

@rocketeer...look at this way: by accepting these boots you are going green, they are "recycled" after all. All this talk of coffee grounds and dryer sheets has me feeling like I'm back in my college dorm, struggln' and smugglin'.

Nice to see a cross of serious and lighthearted posts here I never smoked, could never afford to. But I never could stand the smell of cannabis.
Around here it's smoked by spotty youths, sometimes not that youthful looking, shifty sorts wearing ill fitting clothing and baseball hats the wrong way round. OK that sounds a bit stereo typical but they do look like that in Essex.

I never liked cannabis. It always made the understanding that I need just one leather jacket and that the style doesn't matter, perfectly clear. And I don't need none of that crap.

I would firstly sanitize in the sun for a day or two. (You wouldn't know what wonders the sun does for killing germs) and then, I would personally flush in soapy lukewarm water solution. Then, after drying it in the sun and finishing it off with a hair dryer, I would get one of these -->http://www.febreze.com/en-us that are designed for fabric. Spray them on and wait for the wonders to happen.

I bought old trumpets and they came in attic stink smell cases, after the process above, they smell very good.

I wouldn't wash them out in a mild soap solution. Boots and trumpets are very different.

Just air them awhile. The smell will go away on its own with patience.
